Project Description:

The project consists in the design and construction of three (3) 3,000-track feet of working tracks each; the design and construction of a site layout that provides maximum

operational efficiency for the loading/unloading system of cargo containers onto rail cars utilizing reach stackers; the design and construction of a paved loading apron area, a

circulation roadway within the Rail Intermodal Yard, demolition of existing structures, construction of an access roadway to the yard with driveway tie-ins, and improvements to

PortMiami facilities and structures. The project also includes new drainage, signing and pavement markings, 15 new high mast lightings and 2 new power service installations, and

security fencing, relocation of ATT communication duct bank feeding the complete Port, and the relocation of PortMiami secure fiber duct bank.

As a change order to the base contract a complete Radiation Portal is currently starting the installation phases.
